Riipen is looking for a Sales Development Representative (internally know as a Connecting Associate) to join our Industry Team!
We are adding to our team! Riipen is looking for a Connecting Associate to join our Sales Team. The successful candidate will have a passion for sales, technology and education discovery - how to not only meet client expectations but exceed them.
You will be involved in working with a highly effective, remote and local teams in Vancouver and Toronto, working on the Riipen platform and on the frontlines with our industry clients.
This is a full-time position and will be located in Vancouver.
Sourcing and selling industry licenses
Schedule and execute professional phone conversations and/or meetings with stakeholders in order to close accounts;
To become familiar with Riipen developed sales tools
Innovative, self-directed lead generation (eg., through personal networking, outreach, web-based searches)
Be aware of and track individual metrics (as defined by the Team Lead)
Qualifying leads for Account Executives
Recording and keeping up-to-date contact information in HubSpot (CRM)
Execute sales strategies and target setting as developed by your team
Participate in one-on-one and team training as offered.
Educate clients on the benefits of experiential learning;
As a Riipen Team Member you will:
Become familiarized with and comply with all the policies and procedures of the Company;
Dream, innovate and help Riipen become the de facto technology leader in the education/recruitment technology space;
Develop customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty;
Be a part of the Riipen community and represent Riipen’s values outside of work; and

Engage with Riipen staff to advance the company in strategic areas;
Continue to grow, learn, and develop as a person, separate from Riipen;
Complete and collaborate in other responsibilities as the Executive Team sees fit.
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous sales experience, preferably within a SaaS environment
Well-organized and detail oriented
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Entrepreneurial spirit with desire to work in fast-paced, start-up environment, with the ability to consistently deliver exceptional results on demanding timelines
You are friendly, smart, and easy to work with;
