Riipen is looking for a Bilingual Academic Relationship Manager!

We are adding to our team! Riipen is looking for an Academic Relationship Manager (Account Manager) to join our Relationship Management Team.  With experience and a passion for providing clients with exceptional experiences you will work with our Enterprise Sales Team and Customer Success Team to ensure the objectives of our Francophone clients are not only being met but exceeded!

This is a full-time position ideally in Toronto or Ottawa -  or pitch us your ideal, our ears are open for consideration.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales activities; including platform demos, assisting with the procurement process and response to RFPs and technical reviews

  • Coordinate with our Customer Success Team (CSC) to support academic users and ensure the health of accounts at the individual user level

  • Conduct and assist in the creation of training sessions and onboarding for new users within the academic institutions, including career services personnel, department chairs and individual professors

  • Consult on experiential learning assignment design and development

  • Coordinate with stakeholders at academic institutions to develop rollout and adoption plans customized for the academic partners’ goals

  • Proactively track renewal dates and coordinate with Riipen Account Executives on contract renewals; ensure on-time renewal and retention

  • Encourage expansion within existing accounts; coordinate with account executive to increase usage within partner institutions

  • Coordinate with Product Team (Tech) to relay academic clients’ priorities and inform the product roadmap

  • Coordinate with Riipen Account Executives to communicate up-to-date sales strategy and pricing structure for academic clients.

  • Occasional travel to partner institutions to conduct presentations, demos or training sessions.

  • Reporting & updating success of experiences by defined KPI’s/metrics to the leadership of the enterprise client (AE/AM)

  • Growing Accounts (expanding to new departments within the academic institutions)

  • Continue to grow, learn, and develop as a person, separate from Riipen;

  • Complete and collaborate in other responsibilities as the Executive Team sees fit.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bilingual French/English

  • Previous Account Executive experience (1-3 years), preferably within a SaaS environment

  • Graduate of a recognized post-secondary program

  • Self-motivated, innovative and passionate about our mission

  • Well-organized and detail oriented

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with desire to work in fast-paced, start-up environment, with the ability to consistently deliver exceptional results on demanding timelines

  • You are friendly, smart, and easy to work with;

  • You have experience or connections to the world of academia

  • Experience working in or closely with a SaaS business

  • Have experience and success working with remote teams
